Jesus... this doesn't even look good. It just looks retarded. Please tell me this is a joke.

Uncovered an old stock SE Racing BMX seat and put it on the mountain bike, I'm planning to re-cover it soon.

Single speed cogs, removed front and rear derailleurs

Bike project...

Over the next couple weeks I'll be posting pictures of my current 2 projects, a fixed gear bicycle, and a single-speed scraper bike...

I actually can't believe I'm going through with the whole scraper bike thing, especially here since the movement is popular in Oakland. The mountain bike is an old clunker we were going to give away, so then I got an idea... why not repaint the bike, convert it to single speed (seeing as I already have an SS chain), and make some rims for it? I'll be crazy pimpin not only on a fixed gear track bike, but also on a scraper.

Origin 8 Track Saddle

Another great steal from a local bike shop, a $21.00 saddle from Origin 8. The saddle was somewhat uncomfortable at first, but after a couple days of breaking in it felt great. However, within a month I noticed that the saddle would start creaking at times when the bike was moving very slowly, which turned out to be somewhat of a nuisance and pretty disappointing seeing as the saddle worked great up until then. The saddle obviously cannot handle much weight, I'm only 120 lbs.
Other than the creaking noises, I really liked the saddle, it's a pretty decent saddle for a pretty good price.

CST Super HP Nylon Tires

A couple weeks ago when I was browsing through a bike shop for some new grips, I found a huge steal: CST Super HP nylon tires. They were $19.99 each, so I thought that they wouldn't be that great due to the pricing.

The CST Super HP tire is extremely durable on the road, the tire itself is pretty skinny, and it comes in about 10 different colors to match your bike. My bike has a red frame... at first I was planning on getting black tires, but the red ones looked really snazzy so I decided to try them out.... they work great! 10 out of 10 stars for the CST Super HP Nylon tire. I strongly recommend it.
